Privacy and measurement

This application keeps daily aggregate counts of article requests and PDF download requests. It records the UTC date, the type of request, and one of six campaign labels (p01–p05 or other). It does not store IP addresses, browser identifiers, referrers, or complete query strings in these counters, and it does not use cookies or browser local storage.

A request count is not a count of unique people or completed downloads. Repeat visits, automated traffic, and interrupted transfers can affect counts. There is no public statistics page.

The hosting provider, Shin Rental Server, maintains separate access and security logs, which may include IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, referrers, and browser information. Its documentation describes access logs available for the past 30 days; account archival settings may vary. This application’s aggregate counters are separate from those hosting logs.
